University of Chicago Service League

The University of Chicago Service League is a Hyde Park institution--
a group of women who engage in philanthropic ventures and special interests.
They meet as a whole each month for tea and a speaker at Ida Noyes,
hold an annual benefit-auction luncheon at the Quadrangle Club,
to support their numerous charities, and meet monthly in small interest sections
to discuss books, listen to music, speak a foreign language, read a play, etc.
My special interests are the book group and the computer group.
New members are invited to join.
